About Rental Returns

Since rental dresses are shared items, we ask that customers review measurements, fabric descriptions, delivery timelines, and usage conditions before confirming an order. Returns may be requested if the delivered item arrives with noticeable damage, significant mismatch from the product listing, or sizing that clearly falls outside reasonable expectations. Items must remain unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition, including tags and packaging, unless the issue existed upon arrival.

We encourage customers to notify us within a short period after receiving the item so we can assist promptly. Please include your order number, photos, and a brief explanation of the issue.

Return Eligibility and Process

Once Dorands reviews your request, our support team will advise whether the item qualifies for return. If approved, you may be asked to send the dress back through a designated courier or return location. Returned items will be inspected before further action is taken. Items showing stains, alterations, fragrance, or extended usage may not qualify for a refund.

Payment and Refund Method

Dorands currently accepts Cash on Delivery (COD) for all rentals. If a refund is approved, it will be issued through bank transfer only. Customers must provide accurate banking details so we can send the refunded rental amount smoothly. Refund processing time may vary depending on the receiving bank.

Personal Data and PDPO Compliance

Information shared during the return or refund process may include your name, contact details, banking information, and order records. Dorands handles this information in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) of Hong Kong. Data is collected for clear purposes, kept securely, and shared only when required for delivery, banking, or legal reasons. Non-Returnable Situations

A return may not be accepted if:

  • The rental period has ended and the item was used
  • The issue resulted from misuse, neglect, or unauthorized alterations
